As an initial Partner of Independence Financial Partners, Nehme quickly built a thriving financial planning practice working with physicians, professionals, families, and business owners. Early in her career, she earned the prestigious professional designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®). Nehme employs a disciplined financial modeling process to help clients with clarity and confidence in regard to their pre- and post-retirement reality. Given her multiple professional designations, specialized advanced licenses, and interpersonal skills, Nehme's forte is in interviewing her clients, analyzing financial information, recommending financial plans and monitoring outcomes. She is regularly praised for her proficiency in foreign languages, including Spanish, Arabic, and French, which has allowed her to extend her services to Latino professionals amongst other cultures and communities.
Her efforts have won her numerous national awards, including the coveted John Hancock Financial Network (JHFN) ACE Gold Award, one of the highest honors JHFN bestows on a financial professional. She was also the named the youngest Advisor of the Year in IFP’s history. Despite the economic downturn in 2008 and 2009, Nehme’s business has grown every year since she launched her career in 2001. Built almost entirely by referrals, Nehme enjoys educating and entertaining her clients and guests by hosting nationally acclaimed authors, such as Dr. William Danko, co-author of “The Millionaire Next Door.” She is also a Life & Qualifying Member of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a premiere industry association representing the top one percent of the world's most successful financial services professionals. When she is not working, Nehme devotes her time and energy to several health-related charities and other philanthropic interests. She also captains her own boat throughout RI’s waters with her first mate and chihuahua, Bella, loves to ski, and enjoys a good round of golf. She was honored Thursday, July 23, at Aldrich Mansion in Warwick and was recently profiled in a special section of Providence Business News.
